Re: Netgear WNDA-3100v3 Setup? I have the driver, but I have never installed a windows driver into ubuntu. Does anybody have a link to a quick guide or know the terminal commands. From Ubuntu VM download either Ubuntu to install on my partitioned driver or whatever other Linux OS I choose. Problem was, and this is where my laptop sits at the moment. I could only download Ubuntu.iso file. So, as it turns out, the driver for this nice little USB wireless adapter is not automagically installed with Ubuntu 16.04 GNU/Linux. The purpose of this post is to help you get this adapter working. First, follow the instructions below to ensure your new netgear wireless adapter matches the hardware in this post.

Have emailed Netgear repeatedly even using an email address supplied by them in response to a negative review I left on another website, but they don't bother replying. Obviously because they're aware of the issue (how could they not be given reviews here and elsewhere?) but have no clue how to fix it or just don't care to.
