Oh my. I have tried to figure this out for days now. Any help would be much appreciated.
This controller, the Nyko Core (Itm#83069-U18), works on my Laptop with Motionjoy.
The laptop is an:
Acer Aspire 5750-6667
Windows 7
Acer Aspire 5750-6667
Windows 7
My older desktop is a built:
EVGA 680i
Windows 7
EVGA 680i
Windows 7
So far, I have tried....
- Clean fresh install on old desktop (needed to happen anyway) As far as I know all drivers are up-to-date according to EVGA's site.
- Just plug-n-play with Motionjoy (This works on the Laptop)
- x360ce (Didn't think it'd work, for XBOX controllers, tried anyway)
- I have tried multiple times uninstalling/reinstalling drivers from Computer Management.
- Tried forcing unsigned drivers from the boot menu from BIOS (F8)
The controller works on the laptop. Upon plugging into the Desktop from EVERY USB slot, it just immediately states:
Nyko Airflo Ex Driver
or
Nyko Airflo Ex Software Download
Upon running the 'Search Automatically for Updates' through Windows Update Driver from Computer Management it states:
![Nyko airflo ex controller driver Nyko airflo ex controller driver](https://www.worldofjoysticks.com/es/images/app_playing.jpg)
Arghhhhhhhhhh
SO, Xpadder costs $9.99. Does it have drivers that work for various USB controllers? At that point, I probably could have just boughten an XBOX or PS3 controller straight up. =/
Anyone have any insight? Anything I am overlooking? I had a recent experience of not being able to access a storage drive, and literally all it took was opening Disk Management and assigning a drive letter to it. Is it something ridiculously simple like that?

I would really like to play some Dark Souls, platformers, or State of Decay.
